                                2010 News

                                17th and 18th September
This time it was a rather longer journey (7hours) to Newby Hall, near Darlington for the Darlington Champ show.  This is a wonderful show, we were there last year with Maisie and very much enjoyed it.  Aston was a little star on the Friday and showed her socks off, considering it was her first show on grass!!  Our Judge, Ken Sinclair was very patient!  We were unplaced there, but she had such fun.  There are some pictures in the Show Gallery
Then on the Saturday, we went to the Four Counties Beagle Club Open show, near Durham.  We usually go for the Champ show, in March, but since we were down in the area, we stayed for this too.  Aston was much more badly behaved than the day before, and got a 3rd in the Minor Puppy Bitch class.  Again, however she had a ball!!

                                12th September
How fast time flies!  Maisie's pups are 6 months old today and Aston had her first show.  We went to Fort William for Lochaber Canine Club's Open Show.  It is a lovely venue and the organisers do a great job, with a hospitality table laid on for exhibitors.  Aston won her AV Minor Hound Puppy class, and had a great time doing so!  We then waited the short while 'til Best in Show and Best Puppy in show.  Aston went up against all the other Minor pups that won their groups and got a reserve!  Have a look in the Show Gallery  We were delighted, as she had only been to 3 ringcraft classes!!  Thanks very much to go Mrs A Skelly and Mr Gordon Haran our judges and our supporters who stayed back to watch!

                                27th August
Again, it was a rather early start for the trip to Ingliston for the SKC August show.  Only Maisie was entered as there were no CC's on offer for the Beagles.  Instead it was Lewis that took home "top honours"!  He competed in the Junior Handling Association class with Mica, and got a very respectable second, qualifying him for the Semi final at Richmond, 2011.  Then he took Maisie into the Young Kennel Club class and WON that, qualifying him for Crufts 2011!!  Then he took Maisie into her breed class and got a Reserve!  What a super day!  Well done Lewis!  Pictures on the Junior Handling page.

                                20th - 23rd May
We travelled to the Scottish Kennel Club Champ show which is held in Ingliston every year.  This year Lewis competed in the Scottish Junior Handler of the Year competition on the Thursday night.  See the Junior Handling page for pictures.  On the Sunday we came back down the road to watch the show "proper".  We had a wonderful day as Aston's dad, Serenaker Trial By Magic won the Open dog class, the Dog CC and Best of Breed!  Well done to Rachel, his owner and Serena Parker of Serenaker Beagles, his breeder.  Serena also won the Bitch CC!!  There are pictures in the Show Gallery

                                15th April
We have been approved as Kennel Club Accredited Breeders.

                                11th April
We travelled to one of our local shows today.  It was lovely to catch up with all our friends and meet new ones.  Maisie stayed at home, on maternal duties but Oscar did us proud by getting second in the Open Beagle class.  Lewis went one better winning the Junior Handling class, qualifiying him for Scottish Junior Handler of the year 2011!  Lots of time to practice!

                                3rd April:
We have had our Kennel Names approved by the Kennel Club.  They are; Wyvisview Veyron, Wyvisview Vanquish and Wyvisview Volante.  Lewis chose them and I think he did a great job.

                                12th March
Maisie has had her pups - 5 days early!  She had 2 girls and a boy.  All pups are tri colour, same as mum and are doing well.  See puppies page for pictures.

                                January 2010
Maisie was mated to Serenaker Trial by Magic.
